2008 Mas Daumas de Gassac, Languedoc, France x 3 x 75cl

Deep, rich crimson in colour, the 2008 has aromas of rich red berry fruit with notes of herby garrigue and subtle spice. Incredibly silky smooth tannins on a palate packed with cassis, brambles, cherry and edges of leather, coffee and woodsmoke. Needs time in the glass to reach full complexity but is in perfect condition and will be for the another 5 years to come.
